Mrs. Sarah Colville

Mrs. Sarah Colville stated to the press that in the early morning hours of August 31, 1888, she and her children heard a woman running and crying out, "Murder! Police!" a few times. She also stated that her children informed her that someone was attempting to turn the door handle to gain access into their home. During the 1881 Census Mrs. Colville was living at 181, Malmesbury Road, Bow Aka St. Mary Stratford-Le-Bow, Middlesex with her husband James and their six children.
